LITTLE BEAUTY IN SEE THROUGH RED

Little Beauty Pinot Noir 2009 (Marlborough, New Zealand), 14%, €23.99, stockists

This Little Beauty comes in a see through red with scents of plum and spice. Is there substance behind the sexy intro?

Yes indeed, that first kiss lingers. It does finish, of course, as all good things come to an end. But not before the passion ignites.

Have had my up and downs, mainly one night stands, with Pinot Noir. But this affair has legs and I reckon I’ll be chasing this Little Beauty for some time to come.

Thanks to the match-makers of Wine Alliance at last I’ve found what I’ve been looking for. At 14%, this subtle Kiwi stunner packs a punch, but a silky one.

The good news for you guys is that she has sisters: Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Dry Riesling and Gewurztraminer . Maybe you can't have them all but no harm in trying.

Details, for your little red book, are  here.
