Port/Sherry
Taylor’s First Estate Reserve. Enjoyed a few bottles of this the past month or so.
As regards Sherry, I head to Bradley’s and take my pick from the fantastic Lustau range.
Beers
A Winter’s Ale, a seasonal offering from Mitchelstown’s 8 Degrees Brewing. (really enjoyed a bottle with the Christmas pudding)
Friar Weisse (Franciscan Well).
Have enjoyed many a good Irish stout this year, including White Gypsy’s Russian Imperial Stout, Carraig Dubh (strictly a porter) from the West Kerry Brewery in Ballyferriter, the special Coffee and Oatmeal by Dungarvan Brewing (not forgetting their regular Blackrock).
Cider
Stonewell, both the dry and medium.
