20% DISCOUNT ON CURIOUS CHARDONNAY

Cuvée à l'Ancienne, Mâcon Charnay Chardonnay 2009, 13%, €10.39, Curious Wine

This cuvée (or blend) has a pale straw colour with hints of green and  pleasant peachy aromas. On the palate, it is full, with citrus  prominent, and a gentle acidity. Over all the wine is fresh and lively with a lasting finish. Indeed, it is one of those wines that didn't promise all that much at first but which went on to deliver very well.
Négociant /Producer www.Boutinot.com recommends
the following food matches: Would marry perfectly with grilled or baked fish, for instance cod wrapped with Parma ham or with grilled herbaceous Mediterranean vegetable dishes.

Boutinot has an office in the southern part of the Mâconnais and works with the Cave de Charnay-les-Mâcon to produce this wine. Charnay is one of the smallest villages in the area, entitled to use its name on the label. Chardonnay is also the name of a village here, the home of the famous grape.

Curious Wines are running a Chardonnay promotion this month, offering a generous discount of 20% on their range from across the world, with prices going from a low of €6.39 to 21.60. My Mâcon Charnay is good value now at €10.39 so get on over to the Kinsale Road roundabout store while the offer lasts!
