Market Lane ‘Chef Sessions’ Pops Up with ‘Food Journeys’ Theme
Sneak peek!

The extremely popular ‘Chef Sessions’ pop up restaurant brought to you by the progressive Market Lane Group in Cork, will once again take over ORSO Restaurant, 8 Pembroke Street, Cork City Centre from 7.30 on Monday 25th March for a one-night culinary extravaganza based on the theme of food journeys.
'Chef Sessions’ is the result of a collaboration amongst the chefs working in the Market Lane Group’s four restaurants (Market LaneElbow LaneCastle Cafe Cork and ORSO Kitchen & Bar) who, over a six week period are mentored to create the menu for their pop up using unusual ingredients, new techniques and cooking methods, many of which they will never have tried before.
Their final 9-course menu, which is paired with wines, in-house beers and cocktails is not revealed in advance, so prepare for a night of excitement, high spirits and wonderful food.  The cost is €75 per person.  Check out
Each Chef Sessions has a different focus, and this time the chefs have chosen ‘Food Journeys’ which will be a celebration of dishes that have helped create the most memorable moments in their lives across a diverse range of cultures and experiences.  The brigade on the night will be headed up by Sean Cunningham, the new head chef of ORSO, who is originally from Scotland, and his two colleagues from Waterford and Brazil respectively, who will bring different worlds together to delight diners' palates.
As with all the restaurants in the Market Lane Group, Chef Sessions sources as much produce as it can locally and is committed to reducing food waste.
