Press release
Two of Graham Norton’s wines have just won the most important wine and spirits competition in the world judged by women buyers – the Women’s Wine and Spirits Awards. A WWSA medal, represents an enormous seal of approval from the most influential female wine buyers in the world.

All of which is great news for the Invivo team who produce the award winning wine range for Graham Norton!    100 female judges from the WWSA 2018 rated over 1,000 samples from 38 countries globally and awarded a Silver Medal to the 2018 Graham Norton’s own “Pink by Design” Rosé and a double Gold Medal and New Zealand Wine of the Year to the 2018 Graham Norton’s Own Sauvignon Blanc

On hearing the news, Tim Lightbourne of Invivo Wines said We are thrilled that Graham Norton’s wines performed so well at WWSA 2018. We will be proudly displaying our WWSA Medals to showcase these awards”

Highlighting the importance of the huge following for Graham Norton’s Own wine range,  Tim continued “WWSA is recognised globally and this award will certainly raise awareness of our wine range with female consumers worldwide”

Which is especially good news for sales of Graham’s wines here in the Irish market.   Recent data from the Irish Wine Association  (IWA)  show Rosé  consumption here has increased to 5% of the total market, up from 3%  in 2016.  The report also highlights the popularity of white wine sales which  make up 50% of all wines purchased in Ireland (with red lagging behind on 45%).   On top of that, 55% of all wine purchases here in Ireland are made by female consumers.

Great to see that Graham’s wines are not only in line with market trends but that they are also winning the right awards among the people who matter, his key customers.
