FIVE CORK RESTAURANTS OFFERING A
SPECIAL PRE-THEATRE MEAL EXPERIENCE
FOR
TEAC DAMSA’S SWAN LAKE/LOCH NA HEALA

Good Day Deli, Pigalle, The Ivory Tower, Paradiso, Isaacs
Tuesday 10th & Wednesday 11th September 2019

Some of Cork's tastiest restaurants are offering a special pre-theatre meal experience before Teaċ Daṁsa’s award winning production ‘Swan Lake/Loch na hEala’ at Cork Opera House, September 10-11th, as part of Sounds from a Safe Harbour festival.

Participating restaurants include: Good Day Deli, Pigalle, The Ivory Tower (who recently shut their doors, but are re-opening especially for this event), Paradiso, and Isaac’s Restaurant.

Sounds from a Safe Harbour, curated by Bryce and Aaron Dessner of The National, director of 37d03d Mary Hickson, Cillian Murphy and Enda Walsh, will be an exciting 6 days of music, dance, visual art, food, and conversation, with lots of ticketed and free events to explore.

Amongst headline acts like Feist, Damien Rice, Efterklang, Richard Reed Parry’s Quiet River, and Caoimhín O’Raghallaigh with Thomas Bartlett, Teaċ Daṁsa’s spectacular production of  Swan Lake/Loch na hEala makes it’s Cork debut at Cork Opera House.

The show premiered at the 2016 Dublin Theatre Festival, for which it won the Irish Times Best Production Award, captivating both audiences and critics alike, and has since toured extensively nationally, and internationally.

Starring 13 world-class performers, including actor Mikel Murfi and new cast member Rosaleen Linehan, Swan Lake/Loch na hEala is interwoven with storytelling, song, and live music. The score, composed by the original Slow Moving Clouds line up, combines Nordic and Irish traditional music with minimalist and experimental influences. With powerful imagery, this Swan Lake is rooted in the Midlands of Ireland where ancient mythology and the modern world collide.

To book your pre-theatre meal experience, contact the participating restaurants directly. This offer is valid on 10th – 11th September only.
