Michael Horgan, Managing Director of Horgan’s Delicatessen Supplies Limited, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, stated that he was absolutely delighted once again to receive the Gold Award for their Spiced Beef at Blas Na hEireann National Irish Food Awards in Dingle on Saturday last. Winning a Gold Award at such a prestigious competition as Blas Na hEireann is significant for Horgans. In addition, Horgans received the Silver Award for their Boneless Honey Baked Ham.

Horgan’s Spiced Beef has been developed using the finest quality Irish beef from selected producers with full traceability.

Derived from a family recipe dating all the way back to 1921, Horgans uses the highest quality ingredients in the production of their Silverside Spiced Beef.  A taste sensation to any palate.
The beef is aged for a minimum of 14 days prior to being lightly salted and marinated in a secret blend of spices.  It is then cooked with a coating of herbs and spices giving it an aromatic spicy flavour which is tantalising to the taste buds.
