FALLON ELECTED PRESIDENT OF RAI

KILDARE RESTAURATEUR ELECTED NEW PRESIDENT OF THE RESTAURANTS ASSOCIATION OF IRELAND
Mr Brian Fallon, Restaurateur, Fallons of Kildare is the newly elected President of the Restaurants Association of Ireland. With over 20 years experience in the restaurant sector, Mr Fallon  is the 16th President of the Association and his term will be for two years. His father Frank Fallon also served as President over 20 years ago.
He succeeds Mr Paul Cadden. The Restaurants Association of Ireland  is the premier representative body in Ireland, and the national organisation representing over 600 restaurants employing over 64,000 people.
During his presidency, Mr Fallon  plans to


  1. Providing access to necessary seed and investment capital.
  2. Outlawing upward-only rent review clauses;
  3. Cutting commercial rates.
4. Reform bankruptcy laws to encourage entrepreneurship;
5. Reforming Joint Labour Committees
6. Regulate the productivity of local authorities.
7. Reinforce ‘Brand Ireland’ and continue to promote tourism
8. Focus on Food Tourism and job creation

Mr Fallon is a native of Kildare. He is proprietor of Fallons in Kilcullen, Co Kildare.
For the last 2 years, Mr Fallon has been a strategic member of the RAI National Council. He served as Midland Branch Chairman, and as a member of its events committee.
Married to Maree, Brian says she is one of the few constants in this ever changing world.
